Dr. Nader Mehravari is with the CERT® Division of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) at the Carnegie Mellon University. His current areas of interest and research include operational resilience, cybersecurity and resilience management, protection and sustainment of critical infrastructure, preparedness planning, and associated risk management principles and practices. Nader has over 32 years of experience in leading and performing technical, business, research, and teaching activities in aerospace, defense, telecommunications, and consulting industries for domestic and international entities as well as in academic environments. Dr. Mehravari was with Lockheed Martin Corporation from 1992 through 2011. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1992, he was a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Laboratories. Dr. Mehravari received his MS and PhD in electrical engineering from Cornell University in 1982 and 1980, respectively. He received his BS in electrical engineering, from The George Washington University in 1978.
